In my opinion we cannot compare Bandar Seri Begawan with other cosmopolitan city. Their population is small compared to others that is why their roads are empty. Based on my experience one of KL problem is that the public transports are inefficient. Although we have LRT, monorail, trains, buses and taxis but due to difficulty of connectivity between one another it became non reliable for public users to rely totally in the public transport. At the same time efficiency of arrival time is very crucial in this modern society. My best experience was in Tokyo where I have seen how effective their subway trains where their arrival is punctual compared to ours. Maybe beside electronic system we also need to change our Malaysian mentality before we can really become a develop country in 2020.

I agree with your comments. If KL urban planning don't do something now about public transport. Imagine in the year 2020 the traffic inti KL are expected to grow into 13 million daily trips...
